We deliver every day of the week the Sterling, Rock Falls and Dixon areas. All other areas that fall within our delivery boundaries are run at least two days a week.

If these days do not work for you, please call in to 815-626-5631 and we will try to accommodate as best as possible.

DELIVERY POLICY

  • The day before your delivery we will call with a two-hour time window for the delivery the next day.
  • Someone over the age of 18 years of age needs to be present at the time of delivery. This is to make sure everything is delivered and installed to your liking. Drop-off items will be Dropped off in its box.
  • You will have 48 Hrs after the drop-off to report damage on the product.

  • Measure the path of delivery and installation area to make sure the new appliance will fit perfectly.
  • Verify your current electrical and water connections
  • Unplug and empty out your old refrigerator

Requirements

  • 110V- grounded 3-prong electrical outlet.
  • Existing 1/4 inch waterline established where the refrigerator is going.
    (We do offer water-line installations for a fee, add this option in cart or call 815-626-5631 for more information about what this includes)
  • If you need a door reversal on your new refrigerator please notify us before delivery. This will avoid a service fee from occurring.

Requirements

  • New pair of steel braided washer hoses
  • 110V- grounded 3-prong electrical outlet
  • Hot and Cold water valve within 6 ft of where the unit is going. (Make sure water valves are free of corrosion)
  • (If applicable) If you need a door reversal on your new Washer please notify us before delivery. This will avoid a service fee from occurring

Requirements

  • A new Dishwasher install kit (included in our installation service)
  • 3/8ths water supply line shut off valve and proper electrical receptacle within 6 ft of the unit
  • Drain hook-up within 6 ft of unit (Garbage Disposal/Dishwasher Drain Tee)
  • The rough opening should measure at least 24" W X 24" D X 34" H-(Min)

  • New gas flex hose

  • Black gas line (no copper)
  • Gas shutoff valve behind unit

HOW TO MEASURE FOR DELIVERY

FURNITURE

After choosing your furniture we now need to make sure it can fit into the area you need it tgand through any entryways, up stairs or onto elevators. Please follow the steps below to ensure we can delivery the item properly:

  • Measure width and height of any doorway or area that the item will be moving through. Also measure the area of the interior.
  • Determine from those measurements if the item can fit and at what angle.
  • Be sure that the path on all sides of the entryway is unobstructed. Be sure to note any obstacles that may prevent the item from traveling tand fitting into the area.

Furniture can be moved straight in if:

  • The height of the back or depth is less than that of the width of the entryway or staircase
  • All entryways or pathways are unobstructed and are wide enough tfit the item

Furniture can be moved in at an angle if:

  • The depth of the item is less than that of the width of the entryway or staircase and there are no obstacles obstructing the path

Furniture can be moved in on-end if:

  • There are obstacles preventing the item from being moved in straight
  • The width of the item is less than the height of the entryway when the item is on end
  • The diagonal depth is less than the width of the entryway
  • After passing through the entryway and making it inside, the item will be clear the height and width of hallways or stairways

BEDDING

Measure path to room to make sure it will accommodate mattress. (Mattresses today are able to bend but not fold. Folding tfit can cause defects in the mattress and may void warranty.)

  • All orders must be paid in full before the item(s) is ordered or delivered. We do provide further options if you are unable to pay in full at time of purchase. To discuss these options, please call our store at 815-626-5631, and inquire about payment options. At Knie's we do our best to keep the most purchased items in stock for your convenience. Unfortunately, we cannot maintain stock of all items, and many may have to be ordered in.
  • Please ask your salesmen for an Estimated Time of Arrival, ETA, at the time of the sale. If you ordered online, please call our store at 815-626-5631 to get an ETA.

All items that are not in stock are considered "special orders," and are subject to a 25% restocking fee if cancelled for any reason.

Appliances:

  • All appliance sales are final due to the difficulty of delivery and installation.
  • Please inspect your appliances before accepting delivery.
  • If your product is damaged or defective, we will inspect the item to determine whether it can be repaired by our service department.
  • If we are unable to repair the item, then we will offer an exchange.

Furniture:

  • All furniture sales are final due to the special-order nature of the items.
  • Please inspect your new furniture before accepting delivery.
  • If furniture is damaged or defective, we will inspect the item to determine whether it can be repaired by our service department.
  • If we are unable trepair, then we offer an exchange.

Mattress:

  • All mattress purchases over $999 with a mattress protector on the same invoice are eligible for a 30-day comfort guarantee.
  • You must have slept on the mattress for 15 nights in order to account for the standard break in period.
  • If after that time and before 30 days after your delivery, you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you are eligible for a one-time exchange for equal or lesser value of the mattress.
  • If a less expensive mattress is chosen, you will not receive a credit back. An additional delivery fee will be charged if applicable.

** Comfort Guarantees are applicable to mattress only, adjustable bases, pillows, and other accessories are excluded.

**Stained, damaged, or unsanitary mattresses cannot be exchanged.

**Law tags must remain attached to the mattress. Missing law tags as well as stained or damaged mattresses will void the comfort guarantee along with the manufacturer's warranty.
